Marcus Hockett met up with friend a regular guest host, Beau Baty of Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas. They meet up at a trailhead and pack their llamas up and start heading down the trail.
It doesn't take long to locate elk as they glass up multiple herds not far from the truck. After continuing along the trail they end up bumping a herd while trying to get on a different herd. They try setting up and calling where they thought the herd was.
The guys continue to head deeper into elk country to get camp set up during the middle of the day to make the most of the evening hunt. Beau and Marcus spend the rest of the day exploring and calling trying to get a bull within archery range.
