On Day 8 of this 2021 Montana Moose hunt, Randy and Arlando are up early at the cabin making their best laid plans for the day. After some discussion and Big Hank coffee, they decide to head out for the morning glassing session. He gives Marcus and Jace official orders to go kill any bull elk they see as they're looking for moose.
At their first spot they glass up a herd of elk. Shortly after a bull moose walks into view. He is on private land and Randy needs to try and call him onto public in order to be able to take a shot. The moose jumps the fence onto public, so Randy tries to make a move. He loses him in the tall willows and climbs a tree to try and relocate him.
Navigating public and private land boundaries, they keep trying to circle around and get within shooting distance on land that they can hunt. Eventually he locates the bull as he and a cow are displaced by a construction worker. Randy wastes no time in cutting the distance and gets his opportunity on a 30 year dream.
